About Neon Orb: Base Defence

Neon Orb: Base Defence is an arcade action game built around protecting a vulnerable futuristic base. Rogue robots and drones create waves of danger, while the player works to keep the central Neon Orb safe and help friendly AI units.

Unlike a pure survival shooter, the game has an explicit protective objective. Positioning and responding to threats matter because enemies do not have to defeat the player personally to create pressure; they can threaten the orb or disrupt the defence mission.

Story and setting

The setting is a future military-style base with a valuable Neon Orb at its centre. Hostile, rogue AI forces threaten the installation, and the defender must resist their attacks while supporting friendly units.

Twenty-five missions of enemy attacks test more than shooting accuracy. The defender must choose which threat to stop first while keeping the Neon Orb safe. The campaign builds toward a boss encounter that puts every learned skill under pressure.

How to play Neon Orb: Base Defence

Enter a mission and identify the position of the Neon Orb and the nearest incoming threat.
Use the movement and attack controls provided by the on-screen interface to face approaching robots or drones.
Watch for friendly AI units that can be rescued or protected as part of the situation.
Collect power-ups when you can reach them safely without abandoning the base.
Advance through stages and prepare for stronger enemies and the boss encounter.

Use the movement and firing controls shown when the mission begins. Keep the Neon Orb in view while aiming at approaching threats.

Mobile

Use the on-screen controls to move, attack and activate any support actions offered during the mission.
Check the on-screen layout at the start of a level because the touch arrangement can differ from platform games.
